Head of Finance and Control – Econowind

We are seeking a hands-on, business-oriented Head of Finance and Control who combines financial expertise with operational leadership and a passion for building a high-growth industrial company.

The Role

The Head of Finance and Control will be a key member of the Executive Team and a strategic partner to the CEO and Board. The role goes well beyond finance and includes driving operational performance, implementing scalable processes and systems, improving profitability, and supporting Econowind's next phase of growth.


We are open to candidates who may not yet have served as CFO but have demonstrated exceptional potential, leadership capability, and experience in scaling organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic partner to CEO and Board

• Lead finance, accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, compliance and governance

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management

• Develop KPI-driven reporting and performance dashboards

• Establish robust product costing and margin management processes

• Improve profitability through operational and financial insights

• Lead ERP selection, implementation and optimization

• Professionalize processes and controls to support growth

• Manage investors, banks, auditors and other stakeholders

• Support fundraising, debt financing and subsidy programs

Candidate Profile

• 7–15 years of relevant finance or business leadership experience

• Proven track record in a scaling organization

• Strong ERP implementation and process improvement experience

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology or cleantech an advantage

• Strong business acumen and operational mindset

• Deep understanding of product costing and profitability drivers

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

• Strong leadership and communication skills
