JOB-PURPOSE

As a key member of the ICTS International N.V finance team, the Group Controller will report to the Group CFO, and assume a strategic role in the overall of the Company and its subsidiaries. The Group Controller will have primary day-to-day responsibility for reporting, planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and its subsidiaries. 

This will include direct responsibility for the group accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, cost analysis, cash flow management and company compliance with finance and other regulatory frameworks.


All employees employed by ICTS adhere to company policies and procedures such as mentioned above as well as Quality, GDPR, Health and Safety and Environmental Management.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):

  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA (highly desirable).
  • 7+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in large multinational companies. 
  • Experience leading and managing financial teams and employees.
  • Good English (verbal and in writing).
  • Knowledge of Cognos, Excel, and other relevant financial accounting software. 
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing rules and international tax rules. 
  • Profound knowledge with US GAAP.
  • Profound knowledge about SOX. 
  • Profound knowledge about payroll, accounting reporting, taxation and funding of companies.
  • Profound knowledge about M&A. 
  • Ability to know and work with different accounting GAAP environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All financial and fiscal management aspects of ICTS International.
  • Responsible for all financial Reporting of the parent company and compliance of its subsidiaries.
  • Oversee adequate financial management of subsidiaries.
  • Executing and promoting the group financial agenda.
  • Executing and promoting future plans on finance and performance.
  • Financial forecasting in respect to business growth. 
  • Reporting, reviewing and analyzing monthly group financial & management reports. Ensure timely, adequate and accurate reporting of all ICTS subsidiaries.
  • Full budget & cash planning cycle including follow up and comparisons of actuals vs planned.
  • Group cash and facility management and payments.
  • Audits, both internal and external, are performed and result in clean sheets/unqualified opinions.
  • Group Administrative Organization and Internal Control environment (establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards).
  • Group cost control.
  • Group tax compliance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures relating to Quality, health and safety and environmental management.


And 

  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Advising, determining and maintaining policies, guidelines and procedures on all finance and tax matters within the group.
  • Promote the cooperation and interaction within the group finance teams in the Group.
  • Approve and coordinate changes, improvements in automated financial and management information systems.
  • Directing and coaching the financial staff of the subsidiaries to ensure their effectiveness, motivation and professional development.
  • Represent the company externally to government agencies, funding agencies, and the public.
