The Role: Your Impact

With our rapid expansion, our finance department is evolving. We are looking for a driven Financial Controller to step in as the direct right-hand to our Group Financial Controller, Barry Visser.

As we have grown to encompass 10 legal entities across three countries (the Netherlands, the US, and Malaysia), the complexity of our financial operations has scaled with it. You will take ownership of the day-to-day financial administration and entity-level controlling, freeing Barry up to focus on group-level strategy, M&A integration, and executive reporting.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Taking charge of the financial administration for several entities within the group.
• Month-End & Consolidation: Playing a critical role in the monthly financial close, management reporting, and assisting with the consolidated reporting for all 10 legal entities.
• External Liaison: Acting as a primary point of contact for external accountants, tax authorities, and financial advisors globally.
• Process Optimization: Continuously driving improvements in our administrative and accounting systems, ERP workflows, and internal control frameworks.
• M&A Integration: Assisting in absorbing newly acquired companies into centralized financial and fiscal reporting systems.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborating closely with Sales Support and taking a hands-on approach to local payroll administration oversight.

What You Bring to the Table

• Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field .
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit (an Assistant Accountant looking to make the leap into business is highly encouraged to apply).
• Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with robust ERP systems (experience migrating or integrating ERPs is a major plus).
• Analytical & Hands-on: You have a critical eye for process improvement but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into the daily administrative work.
• Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred given our local operations.
