The opportunity We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner – Technology & Risk to join our Technology Finance team and play a key role in supporting the Finance & Risk domain within ING’s Global Tech organisation. This is a highly visible opportunity with real strategic impact: you will work closely with senior stakeholders, help steer a technology cost base of approximately €250 million, and turn financial and operational complexity into clear insights, robust business cases and better decisions. The scope includes Finance, KYC, Procurement and Risk-related technology services, as well as close partnership with internal stakeholders across ING to ensure transparent cost allocation and strong financial control. In this role, you will help leaders see what matters, what is changing and where action is needed. Responsibilities  Act as a trusted finance sparring partner to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic and tactical decision-making with insight and challenge  Deliver timely, high-quality reporting and analysis that supports management decisions, with a strong focus on FTE steering, cost optimisation and value creation Advise on operational efficiency, cost modelling, allocation, financial planning and control to improve business performance  Monitor cost developments and continuously refine the Rolling Forecast to keep management ahead of risks and opportunities  Perform run-rate analysis, identify efficiency opportunities and build robust business cases for change initiatives and investment decisions  Provide clear reporting and insight on actual spend versus plan using standard dashboards and other analytical tools  Maintain full oversight of costs and FTEs, including requisition review and approval, cost charging and analytical control  Support the implementation of organisational structure changes, including info memos, RFAs and budget transfers  Review and advise on balance sheet positions, including restructuring and impairment assessments where required How to succeed You are proactive, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. You combine strong business acumen with financial insight, quickly see the bigger picture and translate complexity into clear advice and action. Furthermore, You Have Current residency in the Netherlands, or Poland or Romania University (Bachelor's/Master's) degree 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance Business Partnering, Business Control or a comparable role in a complex environment Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of seniority. You bring organisational sensitivity, sound judgement and the confidence to navigate complexity and constructive challenge.
